Hmm, ever since As ended, I got myself a part time job. In about Dec 2010, I got to work at Keppel as an admin assist, recommended by my uncle. hehe. Well, it was fun, but I dislike that fact that people just give you the stares when they realised that you've got a big shot covering for you, like you know the feeling of "wah, your so and so so big shot?!" and then try to be good to you.... it just... sucks.
Apart from that, I worked and learnt a lot! Had very very nice colleagues in Gul yard, it was sucha lovely atmosphere with them around. They taught me a lot, joked and laughed with me that I missed them so much when I left. That period was one of the happiest moment in my working life. They made it so memorable! <3 It's hard to describe in words, but I'll never forget them teaching me so much about working life and personal life. In about feb to march, I went for an intern at nanhua pri. 6 weeks, and I learnt a lot being about a teacher. I kinda miss the staff resource room w the rest of the teachers there. We joked and laughed and it was weird that I was a... teacher... haha. As in, the first day I stepped into the school, and kids just bow down and greet you. At that moment. it was an omg. haha. Usually its the other way round, now having them to bow at me, just feels weird. haha. The 5 of us below!
After that, I went back to keppel again! hehe. Altho I went back this time round, everything changed a lot. I was basically moving around from one place to another, in a nice way, I was trying out new things at various dept. It was a nice experience as I got to know how different dept functions and got to see more about how the people work there. Talking about work efficiency, gossips, there you have it. In just a few months, till about august, I've seen how people work, how people gossip, how hardworking and how lazy people are. It was an eye-opener for me.
So bascially that just sums up my life in between after As and before uni starts. It was a memorable working experience in Keppel. Almost 7-8 mths? I've spent my days there in keppel. But I dont regret. If there's a chance to go back there again, why not? Though the environment has changed a lot, we still have to adapt. Since everything is always changing, nothing is constant. We just have to accept that isnt it?
Oh, did I mention I managed to have a nice overseas trip with my family to Taiwan too? Guess I shall talk about it next time then! Till then!
